ENVIRONMENTAL PRINCIPALS

Magna prides itself in being a low impact business, and we strive to ensure that our processes, products, and manufacturing activities adequately address current environmental concerns.

We promote the use of FSC accredited timber and wood products. The FSC system allows businesses and consumers to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products made with materials from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources.

We are members of several industry recycle trade bodies, Setswapcycle and Art Department UK, whereby many items are offered for re-use and up-cycle within the set-building industry.

We are currently developing a rental service for commonly used set items, where we already offer plinths and flat walls to rent. 

We process much of our used wood and timber, whereby it is re-graded and can be reused appropriately.

Using these methods we divert materials from waste as much as possible. The minimal waste that we do generate is dealt with by a leading accredited waste management contractor, and is disposed of in a compliant way that reduces its impact on the environment.
